Souper Celebration
It's our birthday! You're invited to our multicultural soup kitchen, Friday June 27 noon - 2pm, right out the front of Radio Adelaide at 228 North Terrace. Buy a cup of home-made soup prepared and served up by Radio Adelaide presenters.

State of Play
Myk’s borshtch
We are all shaped by our life experiences and our upbringing. My Ukrainian background has left me with a taste for the slightly acid, garlic and dill flavoured soup called borshtch (pronounce – borr-shh-tch; start by trying it as 3 syllables and then run them closer and closer together).

The Big Lean
A very warming Zucchini and Leek soup. It's a soup that my mother makes each year at winter time.

Gastronaut
As you'd expect, the Gastronaut team have come up with three gourmet soups; Corn and Cheddar Cheese Soup, Lentil Soup and Cauliflower Vichyssoise.

Expanding Horizons
A very delicious Sweet Potato soup with subtle flavour and has been a sure winner where-ever it has been served.

Jazz team
Swing into Chicken Cashew and Coriander soup, hot and casual! Warmth for the inner soul!

Reel Time
A nod to the 1984 film 'Operacion Chocolate' with Operation Chocolate The recipe involves chocolate, cream, milk, salt, water, cinnamon and marshmallow and is what we will refer to as a 'dessert soup'.

Radio Adelaide trainees
Mjudra Humra - Lebanese Mountain Soup New broadcaster Wendy says it's the love which goes into this traditional soup that makes it special. The ingredients are so simple, but bring them together and magic happens.

Left to right: Jennifer Graue (Gastronaut), Richard Ensor (Represent), Peter Godfrey (Breakfast), Ela Smith (Admin Coordinator), Meg Abbott (Jazz)

'Soup is cuisine’s kindest course. It breathes reassurance; it steams consolation; after a weary day it promotes sociability...there is nothing like a bowl of hot soup, its wisp of aromatic steam making the nostrils quiver with anticipation'
Louis P. De Gouy, The Soup Book, 1949
