Draught animals
Draught animals
are used as major sources of motive power and transport in many
countries. They pull carts and ploughs, pump water, drag or push logs, carry loads,
and are ridden by people for transport. Draught animals include donkeys, horses,
mules, ponies, camels, cattle, llamas, water buffaloes, yaks, elephants and dogs.
