Aquinas has a fine tradition of
scholarship, and excellence in studies is sought continually. Its
graduates have achieved excellent positions in a wide range of
professions in Australia and overseas. Academic and pastoral
assistance is available and student progress is monitored.
The College is known for its friendly
and welcoming atmosphere. New students attend an orientation
programme prior to the start of the academic year and are placed in
House Groups guided by senior students and House Coordinators. Our College Dean, Br. John Furlong, the Assistant Dean and the team of House Coordinators provide guidance and assistance in the transition from school to tertiary study.
Our friendly Administration and Maintenance teams form an integral part of the College community and contribute to student comfort and well being. Aquinas College has an elected Student Club providing an array of well organised sporting, social and cultural activities.
Aquinas College espouses the humane
religious and cultural values of the Roman Catholic Church but
students of other traditions are welcomed and encouraged. Retreat groups are available and Mass is celebrated each Sunday during term.
