ACADEMIC
The Principal, Dean, Senior Tutor and Residential Tutors live at the College. Senior Staff and Residential Tutors provide a co-ordinated program of academic support and individual assistance. They share the responsibility of creating an environment where the student members of the College are assisted to reach the academic goals that they have set for themselves.
The College also organises a mentoring program in which senior students volunteer to make themselves available to assist junior students in their own discipline. This mentoring program is known as the Academic Peer Support program. College Staff are able to assist any student who may need to resolve with members of teaching departments any difficulties they have with their academic program in the University.
STUDENT WELFARE
The College Staff plays an important role in providing student welfare support to all Collegians. There is a particular emphasis in supporting students who are away from home for the first time and going through the transition from secondary to tertiary education.
Each corridor has a Residential Tutor living there to assist with the social wellbeing of the students on the corridor. They hold a number of corridor functions during the year to assist students to integrate into the Lincoln community. They are also available to help with any issues which may arise as part of a student's life at University or in College.
The Principal takes a particular interest in student welfare. Corridor Tutors meet with the Principal to discuss any issues that arise on the corridor or with any individuals for whom they are responsible.
Contact Officers play a special role in dealing with any issues relating to implementation of the College Anti-Harassment Policy. Contact Officers are rostered to be available at all College events and are available at all times for issues relating to harassment.
