Academic Residences (4 Weeks to 6 Months)

Academic Residences can be booked through the Accommodation Service for visiting academics and staff and their accompanying families.

A minimum stay of four weeks to a maximum stay of six months is a condition of booking.

Mattanya Academic Residences

The University of Adelaide has two residences for Academic Visitors at Mattanya which is situated in North Adelaide just a short walk to North Terrace Campus and close to the trendy Melbourne Street café and restaurant precinct.

	Mattanya Facilities Mattanya provides comfortable, convenient and independent living in a quiet suburban location. Visiting Academics are allocated either a fully self-contained one bedroom unit or accommodation in a three bedroom residence depending on individual requirements. The three bedroom residence may be booked as an entire residence or on a share basis, subject to availability.

• All bookings remain subject to availability

The accommodation fee includes:

• Fully furnished residences
• Includes bedding (excluding towels)
• Basic kitchen utensils
• Television, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher
• Electricity, water and gas
• Reverse cycle air-conditioning

Visitors are responsible for:

• The cost of connecting a telephone, call costs and phone line rental
• Food is not included
• No parking available on site

Roseworthy Academic Residences

The University of Adelaide offers four residences for Academic Visitors at Roseworthy Campus, located 50 kilometers north of Adelaide. Roseworthy Campus provides comfortable, convenient and independent living in a quiet rural location.

	Roseworthy Facilities Visiting Academics are offered a three bedroom self-contained, furnished residence including linen and cost of utilities. A wide range of facilities are available including a 25 metre swimming pool, tennis courts, barbeques, gymnasium, canteen and shop. An inter-campus shuttle bus operates three times each weekday during semesters between Roseworthy, North Terrace and Waite Campuses.

• Minimum stay of 4 weeks to maximum of 6 months applies.
• All bookings remain subject to availability
• Individual room rates are also available on enquiry

The accommodation fee includes:

• Furnished 3 bedroom residence - 1 double and 2 single beds
• Reverse cycle split system air-conditioning
• Linen and towels
• Basic kitchen utensils
• Television, microwave, washing machine and dryer
• Electricity, water and gas
• Cleaning service once per week including linen and towels

Visitors are responsible for:

• Telephone call costs billed through Accommodation Services
• Food is not included
