Academic and Staff Visitors to the University of Adelaide
To all Academic Visitors and Staff please be reminded of the availability of our fully furnished, self contained Academic Residences in North Adelaide. Please contact the Accommodation Service by email for more information or to make a booking.
Attempted Fraud Alert
The Accommodation Service would like to alert University of Adelaide students to recent reports of attempted online fraud where students are encouraged to transfer funds to secure share accommodation and rental accommodation options on properties that have not been viewed.
The Accommodation Service would like to remind students of the importance of inspecting accommodation in the private rental market before making financial commitments of any kind with the exclusion of University managed accommodation, Residential Colleges, Student Hostels and Commercial Student Accommodation providers, as represented on the University of Adelaide Accommodation Service website.
International students who choose not to secure University managed, Residential College or Student Hostel, Commercial Student Accommodation prior to arrival are advised to book 7 nights of temporary accommodation through the International Student Centre, please click here. Then once in Adelaide these students are encouraged to visit the Accommodation Service centre (Level 4, Union House East, North Terrace campus) for assistance and support in finding private or share accommodation.

Accommodation Information Sessions In Singapore and Malaysia
A representative from the University of Adelaide Accommodation Service will be in Singapore and Malaysia from 16 - 20 January 2012 to deliver an accommodation information session as part of the University's pre departure event (Singapore - 16 January 2012 and Malaysia - 17 January 2012) and to support University representatives in each of these countries to assist students for arrival and provide specialist student accommodation advice.

The Accommodation Service would like to congratulate veteran Village resident Yee Mun Fan who won this year's Merdeka Award for top Malaysian student in their final year at a South Australian University.

By getting to know students of different nationalities and cultures, it provideded me the opportunity to develop my communication skills.
