Mattanya Resident Chuan - MalaysiaI came to the University in 2004 to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering after completing my diploma at Inti College in Malaysia. At first my friends and I were worried about accommodation since we were unfamiliar with the surroundings, but we spoke to the friendly Accommodation Service staff and found out about all of the options. In July, I moved into Mattanya Residences in North Adelaide with three of my friends. It is a unique, peaceful and quiet location but still close to Uni - only a 15-20 minute walk away. The house is spacious and the weekly rent includes the electricity and water bills. I would strongly recommend Mattanya to other students because it is a perfect option particularly if you are looking for independence. Many of the people staying there are international students and you might meet someone from your course so you can revise and study together. I think it's great to be able to meet people from all walks of life, to get to know each other's culture better and create a harmonious environment. |
