The University of Adelaide understand that accommodation plays an important part in establishing a solid foundation for academic success and is familiar with the challenges students face when making the transition from a supported home environment to University life, particularly when they are required to do so in an unfamiliar city without the support network of family and friends.
Should students choose to live in University managed student accommodation their transition into University life will be supported by the University’s student engagement plan of which there are five important elements:
- Social Events
- Sporting Clubs
- Student Support
- Learning Support
- Orientation Programs
Regular social events are delivered within the Village and Roseworthy Residential College environments and provide an opportunity for students to make friends and develop their own support network within their residential community.
