- Apply for International Scholars in Addiction Studies (ISAS) Programme -

Class 2010: Students in the Master of Science in Addiction Studies programme are eligible to apply for one of four scholarships offered through the International Scholars in Addiction Studies programme.  The ISAS programme, which is made possible by a generous gift from Reckitt-Benckiser Pharmaceuticals, offers select students US $11,500 to be applied towards IPAS tuition over the course of their enrolment.  Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit. As the scholarship only covers part of tuition fees, qualifying students are required to pay any outstanding tuition charges, and must indicate their understanding of this responsibility upon acceptance of the scholarship monies. Contributions of employers or other agencies can be mentioned here as well.

Students wishing to compete for these funds should write a one- to two-page signed essay that includes the following:

1) An account of how the training you receive through the IPAS programme will further your work in addictions (in your organization, region, or nation) or will further the addictions field;
2) A summary of your academic and/or professional achievements in the addictions or related fields that might make you uniquely deserving of this award;
3) Mention of any financial reasons that make receipt of this award particularly important;
4) Consideration of your ability to pay the remaining tuition costs, as the scholarship only partially covers the cost of the programme.

Class 2011: Availability of the scholarship and the amount for the scholarships  needs to be confirmed. more information will follow.
