This program is designed for people seeking a practical, outdoor-oriented career in the management of environmental resources, including flora, fauna, soil, air and water. There is a wide range of electives available including conservation biology, freshwater ecology, fauna management, indigenous studies, environmental management, agroforestry and pest management.

Career options include working in national parks, zoos, as vertebrate pest management officers, revegetation officers and environmental monitors. Employers are primarily government agencies but some graduates also find positions with private companies or community-based groups.
