Marketing food and wine
Once you have a great product, you need to sell it. The business of marketing is all about working out what consumers want and developing products and systems to meet those preferences. That can mean considering all the aspects associated with sales and promotions and it also means the research that helps producers discover the preferences and desires consumers have for taste, aroma, packaging, and price.

Jobs – what and where?
With training in food or wine production, you could have a career in marketing and sales, business development, research or production. These very versatile skills also mean an advantage in looking for work overseas, especially if you also have training in a specialist area such as wine marketing or food product development. There are also growing opportunities in tourism and hospitality.
