There is much to celebrate this month with the announcement of the Australia Day Honours 2017. Congratulations to our 28 alumni, staff and friends who were recognised this year, including the Curator of the Waite Arboretum Dr Jennifer Gardner, prominent dentist Dr Joe Verco and Honorary Visiting Professor Julia Gillard. We are incredibly proud of their achievements.

The search process for our next Vice-Chancellor has formally commenced and as a member of our alumni community, the Rear Admiral the Hon. Kevin Scarce AC, CSC, RANR Chancellor of the University of Adelaide, is seeking your opinion. All alumni are invited to an open forum on 7 March which will give you the opportunity to share your views on the qualities you would like to see in our next Vice-Chancellor.

Please enjoy this edition and remember to stay connected.
