Bequests

Please join us in supporting our endeavours and mission to provide current and future scholars with the best facilities in a world-class university.

A bequest, or gift by will, no matter how large or small, is an effective way of providing a permanent legacy which will enable us to address the University's immediate and changing needs.

Your generous support will ensure that generations of students, teaching staff and researchers will benefit from provisions made for enduring investments in:

• Resources: to support our state-of-the-art teaching and scholarship
• Existing buildings, some of which are of great historical significance
• Student support through scholarships
• Innovative programs and research, to enhance our contributions, both nationally and globally

A bequest can be added as a codicil to an existing will or incorporated in a new will and there are several ways to make your gift by will to the University of Adelaide. You can direct your bequest to an area, research activity, faculty, school, department or student support program of your choice or you may elect to provide discretionary funds which the University can then divert to high priority areas and needs. Your bequest may be for an amount of money or for specific property such as real estate or securities. A bequest can be left in your honour in perpetuity or you may prefer to donate anonymously.
