ICAC response update

The ICAC Response Steering Committee – made up of staff, students, alumni and independent external members - is helping shape the University’s response to the ICAC recommendations. A key part of this has been working closely with independent consultants KPMG to design a consultation program that will offer our stakeholders the opportunity to have their voices heard.

We are inviting staff, students and alumni to share their feedback. Alumni are welcome to send any comments or feedback on the following topics to uoa_feedback@kpmg.com.au

•    the prevention of sexual assault, sexual harassment and other inappropriate behaviour such as bullying and
     discrimination at the University of Adelaide;
•    equality, diversity and inclusion, and the values of integrity, respect and collegiality at the University of Adelaide as
     they relate to any of the above issues;
•    possible improvements to psychological safety at University of Adelaide which may remove barriers to
     reporting; and
•    the bystander experience.

Submissions received in the KPMG mailbox will be treated in accordance with the KPMG Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). Your submissions will not be shared with the University other than in aggregated themes, and your identity and other personal information will not be disclosed.

Alumni Council are also participating in a facilitated workshop with KPMG to ensure alumni voices are heard.

We cannot bring about the meaningful cultural change we need without the input of our community. We are committed to asking the difficult questions, and listening to your feedback.
