The Adelaide Sarawak Alumni Scholarship

The purpose of the scholarship is to promote international alumni relations by providing financial assistance to undergraduate students from Malaysia who have been accepted to study at the University of Adelaide.

One scholarship each year is available to a Malaysian citizen who has been accepted into and will commence studying an undergraduate degree at the University of Adelaide. The successful applicant will have strong academic qualifications and will be able to demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is to the value of AUD$6000, and the recipient shall be paid AUD$2000 for each academic year that they are enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Adelaide, for a maximum of three years. Scholarships will be awarded and first payments made in semester two (August) of each year to give equal consideration to both semester one and semester two applicants.

For applicants who have not yet been accepted for study toward a degree at the University of Adelaide, please remember that a general international undergraduate application form must be submitted in addition to an application for the Adelaide Sarawak Alumni Scholarship. An application for the Adelaide Sarawak Alumni Scholarship is not a formal application to study at the University. For applicants who have already been accepted to study toward a degree at Adelaide, or are currently enrolled in a degree at the University, a scholarship application form will be posted on this page in early 2008.
