Laboratory Animal Services will ...support the University of Adelaide's biomedical research community through the delivery of best practice animal husbandry and the provision of world standard laboratory animal products and services, whilst maintaining a commitment to the principles of the Australian code of practice for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.
Clients are advised to be familiar with standard operation procedures pertaining to all areas they access.

Importation of Laboratory Animals
Investigators wishing to import laboratory animals can become familiar with the requirements of both AQIS and Laboratory Animal Services. Researchers are encourage to apply for Import Permits using the AQIS online form, https://www.aqis.gov.au/PermitApplications/Pages/ImporterExporterDetails/aspx
