The Professional Certificate in Arbitration
Applications for the 2008 are now closed.
Arbitration is a form of dispute resolution where the parties to the dispute appoint an arbitrator, who is both a subject expert in the matter of the dispute and qualified as an arbitrator, and the parties agree that they will be bound by the decision of the arbitrator.
The Professional Certificate in Arbitration results from a joint venture between the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia and the University of Adelaide, who with the Law Schools of partner universities across Australia, combine resources to provide high quality education in the field of Arbitration.
The Professional Certificate in Arbitration is offered nationally, with the majority of arbitration students undertaking the Professional Certificate of Arbitration online. Face to face classes are held in Australian capital cities where there is sufficient student demand.
Applications for 2008 are now closed. Students who have previously completed the General Course component of the Professional Certificate Arbitration and wish to complete the Advanced Course may submit applications up to 14 July 2008. Please visit the Advice to Prospective Students page for further information.
