Enrolling in the Professional Certificate in Arbitration

The Professional Certificate will be offered again in 2012. To apply for entry to this program you need to complete the 2012 online application form.

If your application is successful, you will need to enrol in the program. This web page provides information on how to successfully complete your enrolment. 

What happens now?

  • If your application has been successful you will receive an official letter of offer from the University via post - this will include your username (this is also your student ID) and password
  • Please read this information carefully and complete the actions within the timeframe indicated
  • You will use your username and password to access all the University's online resources including enrolment and payment
  • You will receive access to MyUni and other University resources like the library
  • You will receive your course materials at your first Introduction Workshop - if you choose not to attend this workshop your course materials will be sent to you via post

Please note: it is your responsibility to enrol into your program.   

When can I enrol?

  • Once you have received your username and password you can enrol and pay for courses online.
  • If your organisation is paying for the program you can request an invoice during this process
  • You can also apply for FEE-HELP as part of this process
  • You will need to complete an online enrolment for the Introduction to Arbitration Course before 12 March 2012.
  • You have until 6 August 2012 to complete enrolment for the Advanced Arbitration Course

What should I enrol into?

  • It is recommend that you complete your enrolment for the General Course and Advanced Course at the same time
  • If you successfully complete all components of the Introduction to Arbitration your enrolment in the Advanced Arbitration Course will be confirmed
  • If you do not complete the Introduction to Arbitration, then your enrolment for the Advanced Arbitration Course will be dropped automatically
  • You will need to enrol in a class for the General Course and Advanced Course 
    • Introduction to Arbitration class number is7155
    • Advanced Course class number is 7156

What if I have already completed the General Course component of the Professional Certificate in Arbitration?

  • If you have successfully completed the old General Course you can make a direct request to the National Program Coordinator for admittance to the 2012 Program
  • If your inclusion in the Advanced Arbitration Course is confirmed you may enrol in the Advanced Course at any time from February to 6 August 2012 using your old username and password
  • If you do not remember your username or password contact the Student Centre on (08) 8303 5208 or toll free 1800 061 459

How do I enrol?

  • The University offers clear step by step instructions on how to enrol online - this is also covered in your offer from the University
  • Some direction for enrolment into this program:
    • Steps 1 and 2 – you do not need to undertake these steps as you have only one class per semester and we have provided your class numbers
    • Steps 3, 4 and 5 – complete as instructed. Your record will show that you have been admitted into the Professional Certificate in Arbitration
    • Step 6 is optional
    • Step 7 – If you are a resident of Adelaide you can obtain your Student ID as instructed.
    • If you are from interstate you can either submit a passport photo via post or a digital image via an online form - see complete instructions on obtaining your Student ID
  • You should also pay for the courses at the same time as you enrol
  • Additional course materials can be purchased separately from PCE, these may be requested when you apply for the program.

What do I do if there is an error or I have problems?

  • Errors may occur for a variety of reasons. If you receive an error message, your enrolment in the class will not be processed

What if I want to withdraw?

  • You can withdraw from the program by dropping your courses via Access Adelaide - please take note of the critical dates for withdrawing from courses
