The team at Adelaide Research & Innovation (ARI) are here to help researchers at the University of Adelaide with all their IP related needs. ARI is directly funded by the University to provide these services, which means neither you nor your School are charged a fee for the services we provide.

All income generated through commercial activities is fed back to the University and its researchers, with the margin fed back to the area that generated the income, helping you to sustain your research and other activities.

University of Adelaide researchers are increasingly in demand for their research skills - the value of such work has quadrupled since 2004. All contract research and consulting agreements are managed by Adelaide Research & Innovation, and it is our role to help you to engage in applied research, in accordance with the policies set down by the University.

ARI help researchers, not only to meet the University's requirements, but to identify business opportunities, connect with industry and protect their intellectual property. Contracting through ARI will provide you access to the University’s insurance policy cover, and will enable you to focus on doing what you do and like doing best – your research.
