Research Funding
ARI works to put more of the University's research discoveries on the path to impact by maximising access to appropriate commercial funding programs, including those outlined below.
- ARI has its own very successful funding scheme "Commercial Accelerator", which is directed at driving projects with commercial potential to market. This provides funding up to $150,000 per project.
- ARI is also a Registered Service Provider under the Federal Government's R&D Tax Incentive program. This provides a targeted tax offset designed to encourage more companies to engage in research and development in Australia.
- We also facilitate access to all venture capital funding (including the $30m Trans Tasman Commercialisation Fund) and company creation. In addition we are the gateway for University of Adelaide researchers to access proof of concept funding and other support from the Federal Government's Commercialisation Australia initiative.
