The Research Branch provides reliable high quality advice and support to University researchers and their sponsors, as well as contributing to the development of a University environment that facilitates and recognises high quality research.
Key functions:
- Promotion, management and administration of competitive research funding opportunities
- Research strategy and development at the individual, departmental, school, faculty and institutional levels
- Ensuring that the University and Researchers meet sponsor compliance and reporting obligations
- Understanding, supporting and promoting the University's research capacity
- Research policy development and implementation
- Representing and supporting the University's research interests, internally and externally
- Sponsor liaison and input
