This is a mailing list for the discussion of anaerobic digestion (AD) as a sustainable energy resource.
It involves

• Waste managers & decision makers
• Developers, financiers & lenders
• Government agencies & departments
• Scientists
• Enthusiasts

The list's principal objectives are to accelerate exchange of information and practical experience, identify barriers to the deployment of AD technology, encourage the use of AD technology, and, where relevant, assist and encourage national Pilot and Demonstration (P&D) programs. The goal of these objectives is to increase the deployment of AD technologies and to transfer the "lessons learned" from past experiences.

The list aims to provide reliable information on the cost effectiveness of AD, markets for biogas and other co-products, advanced technologies for biogas utilization, environmental benefits, and institutional barriers.
