All official University of Adelaide social media channels must be correctly branded.
If you manage an official University of Adelaide Facebook or Twitter channel, please read the relevant sections below.
Your Facebook page allows you to display a cover photo as well as a profile picture.
Only official University Facebook pages or groups may use the University of Adelaide logo in their profile pictures. The use of visual identity elements (such as the logo) are not allowed for personal Facebook accounts.


The profile picture is an important graphical device used to brand University approved and endorsed facebook pages.
Correct use of University of Adelaide organisational corporate signatures [vertical] are the endorsed solution for profile picture. Any other incorrect use of custom profile pictures are distinctly off-brand and not endorsed.

Size of the profile picture 180px x 180px (shrinks to 125px x 125px)
The size of the cover photo on your Facebook page is 851px x 315px.

Official University of Adelaide (UoA) accounts on Twitter use a profile picture and the account description to create a clearly visible identity.
Profile Picture Format: 250px width (height varies depending on distinction)
In line with the limited number of characters on Twitter, the University's visual identity for Twitter accounts features the monogram "UoA" and the symbol, and the distinction follows below:
Only the official UoA account '@UniofAdelaide' on Twitter uses the profile picture with the full University name:
