a commercial farm providing examples of most aspects of farming practice, livestock husbandry
and general land use found in South Australia

resource for postgraduate research

- aquatic reserve, ephemeral swamp and fauna park, offering students access
to practical experience in handling and management of aquatic and terrestrial
native fauna, ranging from micro-organisms to birds, native marsupials and reptiles

- Australia's pre-eminent wheat breeding program, which seeks to provide high
yielding, high quality, disease resistant wheats with wide adaptation for commercial

Conference facilities
Roseworthy Campus is a unique conference venue with comfortable, fully-catered
accommodation provided by the Roseworthy
Residential College at a sensible price for groups of all sizes. The wide
range of facilities available on the Campus include: lecture theatres and tutorial
rooms with audio visual equipment, a tele-conference venue, rooms suitable for
practical workshop activities.
For recreation there is a fully-licensed tavern and bistro, a 25-metre swimming
pool and floodlit ovals and courts. At the end of the day there are thousands
of acres of superb countryside at your doorstep. Stroll around the Roseworthy
Farm, visit the native fauna sanctuary, watch the cows being milked, inspect the
deer research farm or just sit under a tree and relax.
