Printing Refund

Situations where printing refund is warranted:

  • Print job didn't print from printer, even though printing credit has been deducted
  • Printer only printed partial print job, but deducted the full print job amount
  • Print job has been cancelled from printer, but printing credit still being deducted
  • Discrepancies between print jobs printed and print credit being deducted

*Error print jobs due to user issue - e.g wrong paper size, printed in landscape but wanted in portrait - WOULD NOT BE REFUNDED. Students are responsible to check printer settings for all their print jobs before printing.

Ways to request for print refund

If the error print job happens on one of the CATS printer, it would be preferrable to come to the CATS frontdesk to inform the CATS staff. We will verify the error print job against your printing account history and also the printer's job log. You will be asked to fill out the refund form, once form is acknowledged by the CATS staff, you can then bring the form to University Contact Centre to get the correct amount refunded immediately.

You can also directly proceed to the University Contact Centre to get your printing refund, but do bare in mind that it will take University Contact Centre around 3-4 working days for the refund to be processed.
