Secured Printing

The Canon printers in CATS offer a secured printing option. The job is sent to the printer and held until you release it with a password.

It is important to note that once you select print from the computer you are charged for the job, not when you release it to print with your password. The hold time for a secured print request is 6 hours; after that the job is removed from the printer.

From the Printer Properties dialog select Secured Print.

Selecting secure print from the Page Properties tab, Print window

When you finally press the print button the following will appear.
