Academic Background
Associate Professor Martin Hand received a BSc (Hons.) from the University of Newcastle in 1988. His PhD is from the University of Melbourne, which he received in 1995.
He commenced as a Postdoctural Researcher at the University of Adelaide in 1993 before being employed as a Lecturer in 2000.
The Stillwell Medal for best paper in Australian Journal of Earth Sciences was awarded to Associate Professor Martin Hand in 2002. He received the Wollaston Award from the Geological Society of London in 2004.
Research Interests
