PAG and Board Matters

Diary Dates:

The centre is holding their annual soup night on Friday the 24th of July. Families and staff are able to come along and enjoy a cup of soup, some bread and a chat. This event is all ways enjoyed a cold winters night.

The centre is holding a quiz night on the 30th of October. This is sur to be a social event at the centre that you will not want to miss.

Developments about Accreditation

The cente has received its results from the NCAC. We received a high qulity rating in all areas. We next go through the accreditation process in February 2011

Sun Safety

A reminder re our sun safe policy. Children are to have sunscreen applied and be required to wear hats when  outdoors.

30+ sunscreen should be applied 20 minutes before outside play. In Spring and summer it is good if families can apply sunscreen to their child before they leave home or when they arrive at the centre and write an S on the daily attendance sheet. (Please check with staff in your child’s room).

Hats must shade the face, back of the neck and ears, this means that hats need to have a brim around the whole circumference of the hat.

PAG and Board Matters

The next meeting of Adelaide University Childcare Services Inc (AUCS) Board will be on Monday March 30th.

Parent Advisory Group (PAG) meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month. Our next meeting will be Tuesday March 10th at 1.00 pm in the Backstage Cafe. Our standing agenda includes: Board report, Staff Reports and Directors report.
