What makes us special?
Members of the Children's Research Centre are not just researchers.
They are also teachers and doctors who treat real children and their families who are suffering from major childhood illnesses.
They also provide a substantial laboratory service to the community and work in close proximity with clinicians at the Women's and Children's Hospital. In this way they are uniquely placed to ask the key questions about child health and translate their findings into improved medical practice and policy.
