Children's Research Centre

The University of Adelaide Australia

CRC Members

The members of the Children's Research Centre, as detailed below, have established research networks within SA, nationally, and internationally, including health policy networks as consultants and office bearers to national professional society and college bodies, WHO, Beyond Blue Schools Research Initiative, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International and federal government strategic planning and outcome groups. They also provide clinical and laboratory diagnostic expertise in paediatric immunology, rheumatology and allergy, endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, sleep and respiratory medicine, and child psychiatry. Scientists within these specialities at the Women's and Children's Hospital work in close proximity and in communication with the clinicians. The centre is therefore in a strong position to translate applied basic and clinical research findings into clinical practice and policy.
