University of Adelaide, July 2000. FEDSA-WINE is a two-region CGE
model of South Australia and the rest of Australia. In each region,
there are three winegrape and three wine segments, and 29 sectors
in total. Based on ORANI-G and another multiregional model, MMRF,
it has been written to examine policy simulations affecting the
wine industry. Although wine is a small industry nationally, about
half is located in one small state, South Australia. It is set to
become the state’s first billion dollar export industry in
2000-01. The full TABLO code plus a database for 2003 is provided
here, plus appendices detailing the theoretical structure and database
of the model.
