It is widely acknowledged that the planet has become warmer during the last century and anticipated climate changes over coming decades will have significant global impacts. The Research Institute for Climate Change and Sustainability hosted this free public seminar series during the first semester in 2008 to explore the likely impacts of climate change. The seminars addressed a range of issues relating to the mitigation of carbon emissions and adaptive strategies for responding to the anticipated impacts of climate change.
