Evaluating student learning and staff teaching
Evaluation is a central component of professional development, course/program development and the University's quality assurance process. The Assessment and Evaluation team of the CLPD provides a range of support to Faculties, Schools, course coordinators and individual staff who wish to evaluate student learning and staff teaching in their courses and programs. One of the major evaluation tools used at the University is the Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELT) system.
We provide assistance to all staff and Schools wishing to evaluate their teaching for professional development or promotion purposes. Components of this assistance are listed below.
