Peer Evaluation of Teaching
IntroductionThe Peer Evaluation of Teaching (PET) questionnaire is designed for formative purposes, but can be used in support of promotion or tenure applications as evidence of formal feedback from colleagues concerning a staff member's teaching. It consists of 6 questions requiring both numerical and written responses. It is intended to be complementary to, and not a substitute for, evidence derived from the Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELT) system.
Using PETSend the questionnaires to your nominated colleague(s), and ask for their appraisal of your teaching. If you would rather conduct the process anonymously, nominate a colleague to adminsiter the survey and collate responses for you.
