Teaching Awards and Grants

Teaching awards and grants are available internally from the University of Adelaide, along with awards for supporting the student experience.  Externally, awards and grants are available from the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC), which continues the tradition of the Awards for Australian University Teaching (AAUT), now referred to as the ALTC Awards for Australian University Teaching (CAAUT).

Assistance. The  Division of the DVC&VP(A), through the Committee for Learning and Teaching Awards (CLTA) and the Centre for Learning and Professional Development (CLPD), encourages applicants for the awards and grants by providing peer review and assistance in preparing and submitting applications. The awards are open to both Academic staff and Professional staff, to both teams and individuals. For further information contact Ms Barbara Brougham, Executive Officer of the CLTA: barbara.brougham@adelaide.edu.au; phone: 0437 649 976 (mobile); 34721 or refer to our page of handy hints and tips for writing award applications, which includes examples of previous award winning applications.
