MyMedia - Audio/Video recording of lectures for MyUniGo to the MyUni support site for full details: http://www.adelaide.edu.au/myuni/mymedia/ Streaming media is a technology used to allow large audio and video files (such as recordings of lectures, off air recordings from radio or television and other audio or video material) to be accessed online. Rather than having to download the complete audio or video file before being able to play it back, streaming media technology allows the media to be played by the user as it arrives in a continuous stream. Several schools are already recording and streaming their lectures through MyUni. Here is an example of a Physiology lecture available to students from within MyUni. Hormones and Health Lecture 1: Students can access the audio recordings along with other lecture materials (PowerPoint presentations, lecture notes) from within MyUni within hours of the lecture occuring.
