The purpose of this website is to provide information and links to resources for students to avoid plagiarism in their work and for staff to help their students to understand good practices.

Information for students includes the CLPD's Learning Guide on 'Avoiding Plagiarism' which explains why academic writing requires you to reference, what it is you need to observe or avoid, and how you can go about producing well referenced academic writing.

You will also find information on a MyUni course called 'Writing and Speaking at University' and useful links to other helpful websites. There is also information on the electronic plagiarism detection service (Turnitin.com) and a link to the University's Policy and Guidelines on Plagiarism.

Information for staff includes, in addition to the information for students, some sample assessment cover sheets and links to CLPD Seminar presentations and the Adelaide Graduate Centre's information and some useful electronic links to plagiarism pages and some academic articles on issues of academic integrity and plagiarism prevention.
