Dear member,
The Committee and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the past seven months. Sales in the members' Terrace Lounge dining room have been very encouraging so far this year - unfortunately function sales have been quieter than usual. With that in mind, may we remind you that Christmas celebrations are not too far away - now is the time to plan and book your departmental cocktail parties, lunches and dinners in your Club.
We value our existing members and are keen to welcome new members. To encourage applications for membership we are introducing an incentive scheme. Any current financial member* who signs up a new member in the next six months will receive a $30 gift voucher that can be spent on food and beverages in the Terrace Lounge. The voucher is to be spent in one transaction at any time within three months from the date of issue.
*Members who enjoy Club membership on a subsidised basis are not eligible.
It's not too early to consider stocking up for the forthcoming festive season. Visit our Wine offers page for details of some special offers. They feature the very best products at competitive prices, including some limited selection wines that the Club has been cellaring for some time.
Especially interesting is the European wine package which comprises six bottles, two each from the vineyards of Spain, France and Italy. These wines are all nicely balanced and make for easy drinking, with a lower alcohol content than we are used to in most Australian wines.
Have you overlooked paying your 2009 Club subscription? Please ask at the Club office, and we'll confirm the status of your membership. If your subscription hasn't yet been paid, please renew your membership as soon as possible.
