Welcome to the South Australian Centre for Mineral Exploration Under Cover

The South Australian Centre for Mineral Exploration Under Cover (CMXUC) is a collaboration between the University of Adelaide and Primary Industries and Resources South Australia (PIRSA) that is housed within the Discipline of Geology and Geophysics, School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Adelaide.

The aim of the CMXUC is to facilitate mineral discovery by defining and implementing the next generation of mineral exploration geoscience - specifically focussing on the issue of exploring beneath the veneer of sedimentary cover and weathered rock that conceals much of the Australian continent.
