What is an Enterprise Education Day?
The Enterprise Education Days provides an opportunity for primary and secondary school students to learn about the basics of creating and running a business enterprise. The activities of the day compliment enterprise education taught in schools and aims to provide students with a basic understanding of business practise, marketing and financial management.
Students will be given a real insight into business enterprise with the help of inspiring entrepreneurs and professionals who will share their personal success stories.
We firmly believe that students who participate in the program will find the experience valuable and informative. It helps to provide them with an opportunity to consider different pathways for enterprise-based activities, tertiary education and professional careers.
As part of the day teachers also have an opportunity to attend a morning workshop coordinated through the University's – Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre (ECIC). Teachers will be able to discuss ideas for adapting their curriculum to develop further business skills and knowledge in students.
Currently our Enterprise Education Days are focused on two regional areas of Adelaide the West and the North - each with their own programs, focus and age groups. Please click on the menu tabs for further information on the Western Region Enterprise Day (WRED) and the Northern Region Enterprise Day (NRED).
