The University of Adelaide
Thursday 22nd July 2010

Opening the minds of tomorrow's entrepreneurs

The Northern Enterprise Education Day (NEED) is coordinated by the University of Adelaide and supported by Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE).

What is NEED?

NEED provides an opportunity for secondary school students to learn about the basics of creating and running a business.

Activities will compliment enterprise education taught in schools and aims to provide year 10 students with a basic understanding of business practise, marketing and financial management. They will also have an opportunity to explore the benefits of developing entrepreneurial attitudes and approaches to their career prospects and future choices.

Students will be given a real insight into business enterprising with the help of young inspiring business entrepreneurs who will share their personal success stories.
