1.    What will students be doing on the day?

Students will be listening and interacting with young, inspiring business entrepreneurs and participating in activities to learn about the basics of creating and running a business. They will have an opportunity to see farming enterprises through a tour of the Roseworthy Campus.

2.    Who can attend?

The day is targeted at Year 10 students who have an interest in busines studies or those who are keen to explore the benefits of developing entrepreneurial attitudes and approaches to their career prospects and future choices.

3.    How much does it cost?

The event is free; however schools will need to arrange for transport.

4.    Where is the event being held?

The event is being held at the University of Adelaide’s, Roseworthy Campus which is situated 8kms north of Gawler.  For directions please contact our office or download a campus map.

5.    What time does the event start and finish?

You will need to arrive at the campus by 9.30am for registration and the event will conclude at approximately 2.15pm.

6.    What do I need to bring?

Your nametag which will be sent to your school contact prior to the event.  All materials will be supplied on the day including MORNING TEA and LUNCH.  If you have special dietary requirements please contact Kerry James on 8303 3354.

7.    How many students per school are able to attend?

There is a limit of 15 students per school.  If you have more than 15 students please contact Kerry James 8303 3354 as we might be able to accommodate more depending on other interested schools.

8.    How do I register?

Have your teacher complete a Registration Form and return to our office by 3 July 2009.

9.    If I am unable to attend, can I send someone else in my place?

Yes.  Just ask your teacher to contact us with the new participant’s details.
