NEED Business Entrepreneurs

As part of the workshop students have an opportunity to interact with young, inspiring business entrepreneurs.

Below you will find profiles on the business entrepreneurs participating in this year’s NEED.  These business entrepreneurs generously give up their time to share their stories and explain how they have gone about achieving their personal success.  Through this interaction, students are stimulated to consider options, ideas and career paths to follow.

TOM AYRES, Managing Director (Main Speaker) Infield Ag Pty Ltd
Soon after graduating from the University of Adelaide, Tom started his own rural contracting business in the Adelaide Hills. The advent of large scale vineyard developments saw the business grow into one of the leading vineyard contracting businesses of its type, offering services to wine grape growers from the "ground up". Tom's enthusiasm for agriculture has since seen his business diversity into other areas of agribusiness, and the formation of his new company, In-Field Ag Pty Ltd, in 2008. Tom has a keen interest in fostering innovative practices and has included research and development on his business agenda.

With his determination and dedication, at the age of 17 Nick had completed his Master Trainer while finishing High School, which soon after saw him set up his own business "Sustain Fitness", a mobile personal trainer - that brings fitness to the client. Sustain Fitness aims to provide a resource and service that is assessable to everyone; striving to help people achieve their goals and unlock their potential. Nick's advise to students – "Aim high, follow your passions and make the most of all of your opportunities. Make sure whatever you‘re doing, love it!"
