The Summer Industry Placements offer a structured workplace experience for 2nd and 3rd year/final year undergraduate students over a 6 week period during the summer vacation. During this time, students undertake and complete a project as directed by an industry sponsor.
The student will be placed with an Industry Partner who is responsible for the student's work during the project period. A stipend of $2,500 will be made to the student in two instalments.
The program has a dual mission, to enhance student skills through relevant real-world projects to profit industry by a partnership in training, expertise transfer, innovation and development.

Industries wishing to engage a student(s) to undertake a project should complete the Industry Form to lodge their project details by no later than November each year. Students will be placed with industries through the December-January period.
