What is WRED?
The Western Region Enterprise Day – WRED is an initiative designed to link local schools, business and government for the benefit of students and to strengthen interaction between the University of Adelaide and the western region of Adelaide.
WRED is organised and run by volunteer professionals drawn from the University of Adelaide – Partnerships & Projects and Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre, Western Futures, educational and business Consultants, local teachers and students who are committed to the development of young people in the Western Suburbs.
WRED is held in September each year for 200 primary and secondary students who come from the Council areas of Port Adelaide Enfield, Charles Sturt and West Torrens.
