Our Counselling team

The University counselling team comprises professional counsellors who are either psychologists or social workers with extensive counselling experience. All counsellors are able to discuss your concerns with professional compassion and where necessary, we will endeavour to arrange specific support for you if required.

We have male and female counsellors and you are invited to specify your preference. Feel free to talk directly with your counsellor if you would like more information about their professional background.

The best way to reach our counselling team is by phoning us (+61 8) 8313 5663.

ed in advanced catered for different needs. In the drop-in the counsellors got straight to the point and tried to help deal with the immediate issues, while the appointments booked in advanced not only dealt with a few of the immediate problems but also the long term underlying problems. The Counsellors did not make me feel that my problems were pathetic or not important – no matter how small they would have appeared to other people.”
