| Course Description | The course focuses on design and analysing the new and advanced types of flying vehicles. It firstly introduces the methods of calculating the stability, aerodynamic derivatives and handling quality parameters of an aircraft. It is followed by flight test analysing as well as unmanned aerial vehicle design methods. The course is concluded by focussing on a variety of advanced topics that the class may be interested in, such as aeroacoustics and hypersonic flight. |
