| Course Description | Students are eligible for the subject by application and selection only. Participants in the Moot Court subject will participate as members of a moot team(s) of 3-5 students. Students will be distributed to official Law School mooting teams based on their prior study and area of interest.The course participates in a range of national mooting competitions including: the Sir Harry Gibbs Constitutional Law Moot, Administrative Appeals Tribunal Mooting Competition, the Law Council of Australia’s - Family Law Moot, Shine Lawyers Torts Moot Competition, and the Hon. Michael Kirby Contract Law Moot. Participation in the Moot Court subject will enable students to acquire and develop skills in the research and drafting of written appellate submissions, and in the oral presentation of legal arguments. |
