Course Description This course in public international law includes the following topics: the nature, function and relevance of international law, the structure of the international community, the sources of international law, the relationship between international law and municipal law, the participants in the international legal system, jurisdiction, state responsibility, the law of treaties, and a selection from topic areas including law of the sea, trade and environment, human rights and humanitarian laws, use of force, security and disarmament.
