| Course Description | This course requires students to demonstrate their ability to independently complete a research dissertation on a topic of their choice. In the dissertation, students must develop and present an original argument. For students enrolled in the Masters of Comparative Law (MCL), this argument must be based on comparative legal analysis. The dissertation is written under supervision. Students must find an appropriate research topic and complete a research proposal which must be approved by the Course Coordinator. With the assistance of their supervisor, students will then conduct independent research and develop a thesis which makes an original contribution to knowledge. In the case of MCL students, this must be a comparative thesis. |
